Catherine is a science journalist and communications professional born and raised in Ireland. For the past five years she’s called Brussels home.
She writes on a regular basis for the European Commission’s Horizon Magazine and for the European Science Communication Institute, mainly on marine biodiversity, sustainability, climate change and ecology.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science and a Masters in Journalism, and has been published by The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, The EU Observer, the European Parliament’s Newshound magazine, Science Calling, CORDIS News, Earth Island Journal, The Ecologist and DeHavilland.
Catherine is currently working for META Group as a Communications Manager and Editor, where she also writes about entrepreneurship and angel investment.
