
Frieda Klotz is a senior contributor at Undark magazine. Her writing explores topics in medical ethics and aims to illuminate the debates and dilemmas underlying healthcare and medical practice.
She has lived in Europe and the United States and her work has featured in publications such as the New York Times, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Irish Times, Mosaic Science, The Guardian and The Atlantic as well as Undark magazine. She also reported on the laws on sperm donor anonymity and other trends in the fertility industry for RTE’s Drivetime.
Between 2013 and 2015 Frieda worked as an editor for The Economist Intelligence Unit, covering healthcare, technology and other subjects.
She holds a doctorate in Greek literature from the University of Oxford, and co-edited a book about ancient Greek philosophy for Oxford University Press in 2011.
