National Geographic have announced their Covid-19 Emergency Fund for journalists. The organisation especially encourage reporting that covers social, emotional, economic, and equity issues.

The Kavli Foundation are now accepting entries for the 2019 AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Awards. The contest is open to journalists from around the world.
Two awards are presented in each category: a Gold Award for $5,000 and a Silver Award of $3,500. The categories are large newspaper, small newspaper, magazine, video spot news or feature, video in-depth, audio (radio or podcast), online and children’s science news.
