The Hungarian Academy of Sciences & the European Union of Science Journalists’ Associations  have announced a Grant Scheme for Journalists Attending the 9th World Science Forum in Budapest, 20-23 November 2019.

The 2019 World Science Forum (WSF) will take place between 20-23 November in Budapest under the title “Science, Ethics and Responsibility”. Speakers of the Forum will discuss the most pressing issues of the new technological revolution that have the potential to radically transform human life. With the new wave of transformative technological breakthroughs in biological engineering, digitization, nanotechnology and the rise of artificial intelligence and machine learning, the scope and powers of science have widened and so did the responsibilities of funding, discovering and sharing them.

Following the application deadline of Oct 4th, 5 journalists from among the applicants will be provided with free accommodation. International media, in general, can request WSF participation at their own expense via the WSF homepage or the further information details below.
